A message appears on the notification bar as soon as the software update is pushed into the Nexus device. And what you need to do next is, simply tap on ‘Install now’ and this will initiate the installation of the update and the device automatically turn off. Once the installation is complete, the device will reboot into the normal mode and you will be able to enjoy the benefits of Jellybean 4.1.1 on your Galaxy Nexus.

Manual update
