The new update is applicable for Samsung Galaxy Tabs locked onto Verizon Wireless networks only. No other unlocked Galaxy Tabs will receive any updates from VZW. If you have already rooted your VZW Galaxy Tab, you need to get back to the original stock firmware and after that you will get update from VZW. If you have rooted your tab and applied this update, the rooting access will be revoked so you need to root your tab again by following the rooting procedure.

We wont be responsible for any harm caused to your device during the updation procedure that is unlikely to happen if you follow the instructions carefully. This updation procedure is only applicable to Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 so do not try it in any other devices as it may not be reversible and harm the device by blocking it.
