Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 got a new update that is Gingerbread 2.3.5 XWKS9 update. Anyone with Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 can proceed with the update irrespective of the current firmware they are running on as it is a global release. This update procedure will be performed using Odin flash tool rather than KIES tool since it is not an official but a beta release. The best part of this updation procedure is that it won’t void your warranty nor do you require a rooted phone to apply this update. If you have already rooted your phone from before, then after applying this update, the root access will get revoked again and you need to root your phone again to gain root access.
Backup all the user data present in your phone since chances of data loss or corruption are there. Having a backup can help you replace the lost data if any damage occurs. Follow the link posted below to backup and restore all your data easily.

Turn Off your phone to enter into recovery mode by pressing Center Key and Power button simultaneously.
Step-6: On entering the recovery mode select Wipe data/factory reset then select Wipe Cache partition. Now reboot your device by selecting the option “reboot system now” to clear off all cache data present in phone.
After the updation process is complete, you need to configure the APN and MMS Settings to access internet and send MMS Messages.
