Steps to Update Motorola Xoom Wi Fi version with ICS Android 4.0.3 Firmware:
Step-1: Presuming that you have already rooted your Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi, download ICS 4.0.3 AOSP Build Package and Google Apps Package to your
computer. Connect the Xoom to your computer via original USB Cable obtained at purchase time and copy the file to your tablet’s SD Card without modifying or renaming them.
Step-2: Power off the Motorola Xoom tablet and boot the tablet to enter into Recovery mode by pressing the Volume down key and Power button simultaneously. In Recovery mode you will come across an option of “Flash Zip from SD Card” so go ahead and select it then select “Choose zip from SD Card” to choose the ICS zip file placed in your Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi only version.
Step-3: After selecting the file it will take 10-15mins to complete the process of firmware updation. After the device is updated with the ICS firmware successfully, again select the option of “Flash Zip from SD Card” so go ahead and select “Choose zip from SD Card” to choose the Google apps zip file placed in your Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi only version.
Step-4: After both the packages are updated successfully, choose the option of “++++Go Back++++” then select “Reboot system now” option to reboot the device.
