Step-5: In case you are facing some force close issues, disconnect the USB cable and power Off the phone. Next press Home key and Power button simultaneously to start the device in Recovery mode. In Recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset” > “Wipe Cache partition” then reboot your device by selecting the option of “Reboot system now”.
Step-6: To confirm whether the firmware has been successfully applied or not navigate to the path “Settings > About Phone > Firmware Version” where it will display the current firmware as JVKT1 2.3.6 Gingerbread version.
