The new firmware is known as DDKP3 and is the official firmware rolled out via KIES by Samsung Electronics Ltd. Here we have discussed the detail procedure on how to update this firmware manually and anyone from any part of the world can proceed with the update as it is a global release.
The best part of this official update is that the warranty does not get void and if you have already rooted your smartphone from before then after applying this firmware the root access will get invalid and you can reclaim back the lost warranty.

The updation procedure is not recommended for basic users but is for advanced users and is only applicable to Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 smartphones that are network unlocked. Do not apply it in any other models or in any other device as it might not be reversible and may harm the device by blocking it.
