Steps to Update DDKL2 Honeycomb 3.2 Firmware in Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6200:
Step-1: Download DDKL2 Honeycomb 3.2 Firmware and extract it followed by Odin tool.
Enable USB Debugging from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”.
Step-2: Open Odin in your computer and power off your phone to enter your device into Download mode by pressing Volume Down Key + Power button simultaneously. Once you enter into download mode connect your phone to the computer via USB Cable while keeping the ODIN opened.
Step-3: Now the drivers will get installed and ID: COM will turn yellow indicating that you can now proceed to the next step. It may take 3-4mins for the ID:COM block to install all the drivers hence wait
till the process completes. Dont proceed to the next step if the ID:COM block doesn’t turn yellow.
In case the ID: COM doesn’t turn yellow then you need to install Samsung USB Drivers, .NET Framework and update KIES with the latest version so that the missing drivers get installed.
Step-4: Click on PDA tab and select the file named as “P6200DDKL2_P6200ODDKL1_P6200DDKK5_HOME.tar.md5”. Double check the selected file and tap on “Start” to begin the updation process. It will take around 10mins for the updation to complete and once updation is done, you will be prompted to enter the Google account credentials and other network related settings.
Step-5: Power off your device to enter into Recovery Mode by pressing Volume Up Key + Power button simultaneously. You can check the current firmware from the path “Settings > About Phone > Firmware Version” where you will discover the current firmware as DDKL2 Honeycomb 3.2 firmware. You can now restore back all your data that you had previously taken a back up of and also restore the APN Settings that are responsible for accessing internet.
