Connect your phone to the computer and copy both the downloaded zip files to the SD Card of your phone. If you are not comfortable in entering the fast boot mode then, run the fast boot flash boot boot.img where a black window will open and continue to remain open till the Kernel is flashed.
Step-3: While the phone boots up during the first five seconds, press Volume down key till you enter into Recovery mode. Apply the update from SD Card by selecting the option of “Wipe data/ Factory reset” and “Wipe Cache partition” to clear all cache files present in your phone.
Step-4: Next choose ”Install zip from SD Card” > “Choose zip from SD Card” to select the Cyanogen Mod7.2 Custom ROM Zip Package followed by Google Apps file kept in your phone. After the updation process is complete, you will again land up in Recovery mode. Now choose “++++Go Back++++” then “Reboot system now” option to restart the phone.
