Download Cyanogen Mod Zip Package followed by Google Apps from the Must Have section to your computer. Unzip the Cyanogen Mod Zip Package by the help of a suitable software such as 7 Zip to receive the boot image file.
Step-2: Connect your smartphone to the computer via original USB Cable obtained at purchase time and copy the boot.img file to the “Fast boot” folder that is located in the /tools folder present in Android SDK folder. Step-3: Disconnect the phone from computer and power it off. Now press and hold the Search button while connecting your phone again to the computer. Open the terminal or the command prompt in your computer type the commands mentioned below.

Step-4: Use the Volume keys to boot into Clock Work Mod Recovery while the device is rebooting. In Clock Work Mod Recovery press the Power button to select and you can also backup the firmware that is currently installed so that you can restore back to the default or stock ROM whenever you want via Clock Work Mod Recovery.
Step-5: In Recovery Mode choose the option of “Wipe data/Factory reset” > “Wipe cache partition”. Next select “Install zip from SD Card”, “Choose zip from SD Card” after which a list of files will be displayed from which you have to select the “Cyanogen Mod update.zip” followed by “Google Apps” zip file.
Step-6: After installation, choose the option of “ ++++ Go Back ++++” to get back to the main menu then choose “Reboot System Now” option to reboot the phone. It will take around 2 mins for the device to successfully reboot and the latest version of Cyanogen Mod 7.2 will be installed.
