Step-1: Download Android 4.0.3 AOKP Build followed by Google Apps Package from the Must Have section to your computer and enable USB Debugging from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. Make sure to tick the option of USB Debugging.

Step-5: After the firmware is successfully updated, the device will reboot or land up in Recovery screen again. In Recovery mode screen select the option of “++++ Go Back ++++” > “reboot system now” to reboot the phone in ICS Android 4.0.3 AOKP build firmware. If the device takes more than 10 minutes to reboot then pull out the battery and re-insert it to reboot the phone again.
If the device gets stuck somewhere in the middle of the updation then re-apply the procedure again from the beginning. To confirm whether the firmware has been successfully updated or not, navigate to the path Settings >About Phone > Firmware Version where you will discover the firmware version as Android 4.0.3 version.
