Steps to De-bloat SONY Xperia S: Step-1: Make sure that you have installed the PC Companion in your computer along with all the required drivers. Check if all the USB and ADB drivers are installed. After connecting your Xperia S to the computer, a message will be displayed in your screen as shown below.
Step-2: Next you have to identify the customized firmware in your handset, that is nothing but the region / identity of the device. It is better to note down the existing firmware customization number so that after the completion of this procedure, you can get confirmed that it has changed. You can get the Customization Number by dialing *#*#7378423#*#* and then following the path of Access Service Menu > Software info > Customization Version.
Step-3: Enable USB Debugging Mode in your phone from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging” and make sure to tick the option of USB Debugging. Step-4: Download Flashtool along with Xperia S Generic Firmware from the Must Have section to your computer and unzip them.
