HTC Sensation XL, recently launched in India has already been branded as the costliest Android phone in the country. It is the larger version of HTC Sensation XE which is an upgradation of the original HTC Sensation. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the new Nexus device from Google is slowly hitting the markets worldwide as it debuts Google Android’s latest operating system that is Ice Cream Sandwich. Samsung Galaxy Nexus has in fact a good internal hardware on it whereas HTC Sensation XL is inbuilt with an attractive audio system. HTC Sensation XL is inbuilt with 1.5GHz Scorpion Single core processor powered by an Adreno 205 GPU and a Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset.

It also comes with a secondary VGA camera and HDR support for cameras. Both provide for geo tagging, face detection and image stabilization.

Galaxy Nexus shoots videos at 30 frames per second at a resolution of 1080p at full HD resolution while HTC Sensation shoots at 720p at HD resolution

Conclusion:

Going through all the above features i would definitely vote for Samsung Galaxy Nexus owing to its dual core processor, a gorgeous Super AMOLED screen and its super kuul OS that consists of the latest Android 4.0 version. Galaxy Nexus is a big phone with even better features but cheaper in price. HTC Sensation XL is preferable for those looking for a remarkable multimedia experience as it is coupled with an audio system by Beats with a specially made headset for it.
