You can now install the latest version of ICS Android 4.0 firmware in Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 P7310. Steps to Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 P7310: Step-1: Enable USB Debugging Mode in your tab from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging” and make sure to tick the USB Debugging option. Download and install Samsung Drivers from the Must Have section to your computer. After it is installed, restart the computer so that the drivers are installed and successfully applied. Step-2: Download Rooting Zip Package from the Must Have section to your computer and connect the tab via original USB Cable obtained at purchase time. Copy the downloaded zip package to your tab and disconnect the connected USB cable after copying is done. Step-3: Power off the tab to enter into Recovery mode. The Recovery mode can be entered by holding the Volume down button and pressing the Power button for 15 seconds till two icons are visible in your tab. After the device reboots it will get rooted and you will now have to look for the Superuser app. If the device doesn’t have this app you will have to download it from the Must Have section.
