Steps to Root Galaxy ACE S5830:
Step-1: Enable USB Debugging from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging”.
Download Galaxy ACE Rooting Package from the Must Have section to your computer. Connect the smartphone via original USB Cable obtained at purchase time and copy the downloaded zip file to your phone’s SD Card without renaming or modifying it. Do not place the files deep in any sub-folders else it won’t get detected.
Step-2: Remove the connected USB Cable after copying the file and power off your phone to enter into Recovery mode by pressing Volume up key + OK button and holding both press Power button simultaneously. If the device enters into Normal mode then try to enter into Recovery mode multiple times till you are finally there.
Step-3: In Recovery mode choose ”Install zip from SD Card” > “Choose zip from sd card” then by the help of Volume up and Volume down keys locate the zip file that was copied to your phone’s SD card having the name “upd_1.zip”. Press on Power button to select it.
Step-4: It will take about 10mins for the firmware updation process to complete. As soon as the rooting process completes, your phone will automatically reboot. If it doesn’t do so you have to head back to the main menu and manually reboot your phone by selecting the option of ”++++Go Back++++” then “Reboot system now”.
