Steps to Root Motorola Droid X:

Step-1: Download all the tools mentioned in the Must Have section and install Motorola device drivers in your computer. Unzip the Rageagainstthecage and Super user package to the same folder as ADB that is the /platform-tools folder within the Android SDK folder.

This time enter the commands sequentially with a gap of 2-3 seconds so that the commands are processed properly. Now type in the rest of the commands as mentioned below.
