HTC One S smartphone was announced in the MWC in the previous month. It hasn’t even rolled out in most places but it has already got rooted. Rooting
is a technique where third party files are given access to system files so that one can make customizations required.
Rooting enables users to install custom ROM firmwares and other applications that require root access. One main disadvantage of rooting is that it voids the smartphone’s warranty. You can reclaim back the lost warranty by locking the boot loader if present and then applying the default factory firmware update.
We wont be responsible for any harm caused to your device during the rooting procedure that is unlikely to happen if you follow the instructions carefully. The rooting procedure is not recommended for basic users but is for advanced users and is only applicable to HTC One S smartphones that are network unlocked. Do not apply it in any other device as it might not be reversible and may harm the device by blocking it.
You must backup all the user data present in your phone since chances of data loss or corruption are there. Having a backup will enable you to replace the lost data if any damage occurs. Follow the link posted below to backup and restore all your data easily.
