Tutorial to Root HTC Explorer

HTC Explorer users are now at par with other leading cell phone manufacturers as they can now start all the action by rooting their device so as to make use of custom ROMs and other applications that need rooting access. It is to be noted that rooting will void your smartphone’s warranty and the only way you can reclaim back the also warranty is by re-applying the default or stock firmware again.

Steps to Root HTC Explorer:

Step-1: Enable USB Debugging from the path “Settings > Applications > USB Debugging”.

Now unlock the boot loader of HTC Explorer smartphone from the Official HTC Boot loader page by just following the on screen instructions.  You require to add a recovery to your phone so as to install all the custom ROM firmwares in your phone so download A310E Recovery Zip file from the Must Have section to your computer.

Step-2: Connect your smartphone to the computer and extract the zip file that you have downloaded to your computer.
Open the recovery bat file present in the unzipped file while the device is connected and download HTC Sync in your computer so that all the drivers will get installed successfully.

Step-3: Next download Superuser Zip File from the Must Have section to your computer and move it to your phone then remove the connected USB cable. Power off your phone to enter into Recovery Mode by pressing Volume Up Key + OK button and holding both press Power Button simultaneously. If the device boots up in normal mode re-try to into Recovery Mode.

Step-4: In Recovery Mode select “Install zip from SD Card” > “Choose zip from SD Card” and select the Superuser Zip file placed in your phone. It will take about 10 minutes for the entire updation process to complete. After the updation is complete, the device will again land up in Recovery Mode. Now choose  “++++ Go Back ++++” > “Reboot system now” option to re-boot the device successfully.

Thus you can easily root HTC Explorer smartphone by following the steps mentioned above carefully.
