Seems like Sony has taken some insight from a foldable mirror as it unveils its two latest products that is Android tablets P & S after shredding itself from Ericsson. While Sony P is a dual-screen foldable device that resembles a foldable magazine or a handbag, Sony S comes with a standalone display and looks like an improved version of Samsung Galaxy Tab. Let’s quickly proceed to check out the specs and price of both these innovative devices and whether they are worth the bucks or not.
Specifications of Sony Tablet S:
Tablet S comes with 9.4 inch display screen with a resolution of 1280 * 800 pixels and runs on Honeycomb. It has 1 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and the external memory can be expanded up to 32 GB via SD Card slot. It comes with 5 MP rear-facing camera and 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It is powered with NVIDIA dual-core Tegra 2 processor having CPU speed of 1GHz. The finest part about this tablet is that it enables users to wirelessly sync itself with DLNA compatible devices including PCs, Bravia televisions and others, as a
result of which users can share images and play audio, video files on bigger screens. Weighing 598 gm, it comes with an extra micro SD card reader.
Tablet S comes in two different variants: 16 GB Wi Fi model that costs 29, 990 INR and 16 GB Wi-Fi + 3G model that costs 33, 990 INR respectively. Both these models are available from mid-January 2012.

Tablet P comes with 5.5 inch Dual LCD touch screens and supports Wi-Fi as well as 3G. It runs on Honeycomb and has a screen resolution of 1080*480 pixels. It has 4GB of internal memory along with 32 GB of micro SD card support. It comes with 5 MP camera along with a rear VGA camera and is powered with 3080 mah of battery. It is powered with Dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor having CPU speed of 1GHz. Its Dual screen feature allows you to watch video on
one screen and check mails or control other things in the second screen. Sony Tablet P comes for a price of 36,890 INR (3G + Wi-Fi)
The best part about both these tablets is that they have the leverage of Play station certification and thus Play station games can be played on both.
These two tablets are available in all 500 Sony outlets in India including Sony Centre, VAIO flagship stores, organized IT channel, and among national retailers like Reliance digital, Croma, Sony Mobile Stores etc.
