HTC Evo 4G can now update their smartphone with a new Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROM and thus experience the magic of one of the best Android version till date. Steps to Install Gingerbread 2.3 in HTC Evo 4G:
Step-1: Download Gingerbread ROM from the Must Have section and save it on your desktop. Copy the downloaded file to the phone’s internal SD Card.
Step-2: Download ROM Manager application from the Must Have section to your phone and select the option of ”Flash Clockwork Mod Recovery” from the Recovery section then install the current recovery for your HTC EVO 4G.
Step-3: Navigate to the Backup and Restore section and click on the option of Backup current ROM so that if anything goes wrong with your device then you can bounce back to your default version.
Step-4: From the ROM Management list click on the option of Install ROM from SD Card and wait for the process to complete.
