Steps to install Clock Work MOD Recovery and Nandroid Backup:

Step-1:Enable USB Debugging in your phone from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging”. Make sure that it is ticked.

 Download Droid BIONIC Bootstrap Recovery APK from the Must Have section  to your computer having md5 (082a6362c386e2660848120b681f42c3) and copy it to your phone so that it can be opened there when required. Now make sure that you have enabled “Unknown sources” in your phone.

Step-2: After installation is over, open the “Bionic Boot strapper” application. Select the “Allow” option in case you are asked for any permission which is nothing but the Super user permission. Click on “Bootstrap Recovery” then on “Bootstrap Successful” options and wait till the process completes.

Step-3: After the process is over, choose “Reboot Recovery” to enter into recovery mode.

Thus you can easily install the latest clockwork mod recovery by following these simple steps prescribed above and from the recovery mode you can keep the NANDROID Backup by the procedure mentioned below.

Step-1: After entering into recovery mode, choose “Backup and Restore” option then choose “Backup” from the list of options and press Power button to begin backup process.

Step-2: Now choose “Reboot System” option so that the phone will automatically reboot and you will see that Nandroid backup is stored in SD Card.

Step-3: In case you want to restore the backup that you have created, go to recovery mode and choose “Backup and Restore” then choose “Restore” option followed by restore file.
