Steps to Install Android 4.0.4 Update in Nexus S 4G OTA:

Step-1: In case you have received any OTA notifications  from Sprint or Samsung about this software update then pull down your notifications bar and tap on Download button to proceed with the installation.

Step-2: Users who haven’t received any notifications can manually check by navigating through the path Menu > Settings > About tablet > System update and tap on Check for an update. In case you find any update available, then proceed with the installation else you can check back later.

After the firmware is successfully updated, you can easily detect that Android 4.0 is installed in your phone as it brings an entirely new makeover to your smartphone. You can check the Android version by navigating through Menu > Settings > About Phone where it will display Android 4.0.4 version.
