Steps To Install Android 2.3.5 On Galaxy S II:
Step-1: Download DarkyROM2_KI3_Base.zip to your computer. Connect your phone to your computer via USB. Now transfer the .zip file to the parent directory (root) of your phone’s internal storage.
Step-2: Turn off your phone. Hold Volume Up + Home + Lock/Power button til you boot into ClockworkMod Recovery.
Step-3: Go to backup and storage > backup by using the Volume Up/Down, Home and Back keys. This process keeps a nandroid backup of your Android device which can be used later in case you want to revert back to your current ROM.
Step-4: Now lets start with the actual flashing process. Download DarkyROM2 tool to your phone. Launch the DarkyROM2 tool. Navigate to DarkyROM tab and from there enable Wipe user data.
Step-5: Navigate back to General tab > Flash/Install File from SD CARD > DarkyROM2_KI3_Base.zip. Now wait and watch as Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with Touchwiz 4.0 UI is flashed in your Galaxy S II.
