People who own Samsung Galaxy with model number S I9000 can now get another update of an all new Gingerbread 2.3.5 release. This new update is an improved version of Gingerbread 2.3.5 firmware and is known as XFJVA. Released via KIES, the firmware is found to have better battery backup and comes with many stability fixes as well. The update is only meant for Samsung Galaxy S GT 19000 users.
The best part is that you do not require to root your phone to update this firmware and after updating this firmware won’t get your phone rooted so the warranty doesn’t get void. In case you have already rooted your phone then the rooting access will be revoked after you update this firmware.
Backup all the user data present in your phone since chances of data loss or corruption are there.
