Steps to Bypass Exchange Security Policy in Android:

Step-1: Download Root Explorer mentioned in Must Have section and proceed to system/app, mount as r/w then delete the email.apk. Now reboot the device.

Step-2: Next download Email google.apk and copy the “Email google.apk” to the system/app then change permissions to Owner (Read / Write), Group (Read) and for Others (Read).

Step-3: If the above method dint work then download the ICS Email Zip Package to your computer and move it to your phone as it is without modifying or changing the contents of the package in any manner. After you have placed the package in your phone, power off the device to enter into Recovery mode.

Step-4: You can enter into Recovery mode either from ROM Manager or from your phone manually by using the correct button combinations. In Recovery mode choose “install zip from sd card” then choose the file named as “”.

Step-5: After updation is over you will again land in Recovery screen. Here choose “++++Go Back++++” then select “Reboot system now” option. You ought to configure the VPN access either manually or can pay a visit to the system admin to configure it.
