There are many applications for MMS, available to download attachment from multimedia messages but the one particular application that stands out in the crowd is the “Save MMS” that comes for both free and paid.
Save MMS is an Android application that lets you save your MMS attachments on your phone automatically whenever you receive them. When you receive a MMS from any sender you would want to save the whole of it or may be save the attachments like pictures, audio or video from the MMS containing text directly to your SD Card. The app is developed by Andrew Schwimmer who developed the paid application also known as “Autosave MMS” that costs $1.29. Save MMS is one of those few applications that can be downloaded for free since others are paid apps.
Save MMS app creates a new folder in your SD Card to save the attachment downloaded in ‘Saved MMS’ folder. Downloaded files are stored in Saved MMS directory and are accessible from Pictures and Music. You can create a new folder or change the folder name to add the MMS files. Download Save MMS and install it then open it and navigate to Settings and tap on it. You will see the option to save the downloaded attachments either in ascending or descending order of preferences.
The app is available for free all you need to do is tap on the install button at Save MMS and the application with a file size of 74KB would automatically install in your Android smartphone. Install this app at your end to avoid all the humility of asking the sender to resend the MMS. The current version of this app is 2.1v and it requires Android 1.5 and later versions for installation.
