Steps to Add Direct Dials Contacts on to your Home screen:
Step-1: Long press anywhere on the home screen and you will discover the option of ‘Add
to Home’ list.
Step-2: Select the option of ‘Shortcuts’ from the the various options.
Step-3: There have been some serious improvements from the earlier Android version that is Gingerbread, Froyo in the shortcuts menu. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich adds ‘Direct dial’ option to enable users to directly make a voice call just with a single tap so click on the option of Direct dial.
Step-4: Now the Contacts menu will be displayed. From the Contacts menu, select the contacts whom you call regularly. After the contact selection is done, his / her name with the speed dial
logo would be saved as per the image given below.
Step-5: Now you can call them by just tapping on the icon and simply get connected.
